Balandrau, vent salvatge — Cicle Gaudí - Permanent circuit of Catalan cinema
A Cicle Gaudí screening of Balandrau, vent salvatge, Fernando Trullols’s directorial debut starring Álvaro Cervantes, Bruna Cusí and Marc Martínez. Based on true events, it follows a group of friends caught on Balandrau on 30 December 2000 by the torb, a historic storm in the Catalan Pyrenees. The film also pays tribute to the nine hikers who died and to the rescue teams. It runs 116 minutes, is shown in its original Catalan and French version and is not recommended for under-12s. Screenings take place during October 2026 at various venues and towns around Lleida.
