Balandrau, vent salvatge — Cicle Gaudí - Permanent circuit of Catalan cinema
Throughout October 2026, the Cicle Gaudí, promoted by the Acadèmia del Cinema Català, screens Balandrau, vent salvatge at various venues and towns. Fernando Trullols's directorial debut is based on real events: the torb storm of 30 December 2000 in the Catalan Pyrenees, which caught a group of friends climbing Balandrau. The film pays tribute to the nine hikers who died and to the rescue teams. Starring Álvaro Cervantes, Bruna Cusí and Marc Martínez. Running time 116 minutes, original version in Catalan and French, not recommended for under-12s.
