Valley Txistulari Day 2026
On 24 October 2026, Eskoriatza hosts the valley's txistulari day, an initiative started in 2010 and organised in rotation between Aretxabaleta, Arrasate and Eskoriatza. A group of around 35 players from different towns in the valley will fill the streets and corners of the town with the sound of the txistu, the traditional Basque flute. A musical parade will wind through the town during the morning, followed by a concert in the square at 13:00.
