"Bailaor@" (Basque Country premiere)
Manuel Liñán directs, choreographs and dances this flamenco show, now premiering in the Basque Country. Rather than an experiment, it is a celebration of his identity and an act of self-acceptance, the result of years exploring dance, movement, roles and contradictions. With no synopsis, it unfolds as a recital of four or five dances from a non-binary perspective, including a tribute to Mario Maya. Francisco Vinuesa plays guitar, with vocals by Juan de La María, José Manuel Fernández, Miguel Heredia, Manuel de la Nina and Sebastián del Puerto. An Andalusian production.
