"AYOUB"
Marina Otero writes and directs "AYOUB", which she performs alongside Ibrahim Ibnou Goush. The piece grew out of a trip to Tangier, where she planned to marry a man in a vulnerable situation and give him her European papers, a plan that collapsed when she met Ayoub. Starting from his name, the work addresses colonialism, Palestine and the children of Gaza who bore it. It is staged at the Escuela Navarra de Teatro in Pamplona on 16 October 2026 at 19:30 as part of Festival Teatrodix. Running time is 70 minutes, in Spanish and Darija with subtitles, for adult audiences. Tickets: €12 / €14.
