Artium Museoa: Meetings of Contemporary Art Documentation Centres 2026
The 13th Documentation Meetings take place at Artium Museoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz on 5 and 6 November 2026, aimed at professionals and academics working with archives, libraries and documentation centres. The focus is on activating documentary heritage beyond preservation, and on the ethical, legal and eco-social challenges raised by digitisation and artificial intelligence. Speakers come from institutions such as MACBA, CSIC, the Basque Film Archive, La Biennale di Venezia, Tabakalera and the National Library of Spain, with discussion sessions and a guided tour of the museum. Attendance in person or online. General admission: €40; accredited students and Friends of Artium Museoa: €20.
