"Artantxuriketan"

This show recreates corn husking, a task that on Basque farmsteads once served as a way of passing on culture: while the corn was shelled in the farmhouse kitchen or barn, people sang old songs and shared stories. It is performed by Maixux Zugarramurdi from Goizueta and her three daughters, Arantxa, Ainhoa and Maider, known as the Ansa sisters, who have spent years in music combining profession and passion and created this piece with their mother. It takes place on 29 November 2026 at 19:00 at Landetxe Kultur Aretoa in Oiartzun.
