"Ama begira zazu"
"Ama begira zazu", a comedy first staged thirty years ago that packed theatres across the Basque Country, returns to the stage. Its original cast featured José Ramón Soroiz, Mikel Garmendia, Kontxu Odriozola and Elena Irureta, directed by Eneko Olasagasti. The show is made up of six sketches: restaurant workers, a nun and a bishop, a harrijasotzaile's impossible training, a Jehovah's Witness visiting two old ladies, a couple summering in Torremolinos, and a Euskal Telebista reporter attempting a street survey. Expect humour and hitano, the familiar register of Basque, on 25 October 2026 at 18:30 at San Agustin Kulturgunea in Mendaro.
