Ah Girl
Cineteca Madrid screens Ah Girl, the first feature by Singaporean filmmaker Ang Geck Geck Priscilla, as part of its Panorama Internacional section. Set in Singapore in 1994, the film follows a seven-year-old girl living with her younger sister, father and grandmother after her parents separate, who is asked to choose whether to live with her mother. Over a year of new relationships, money worries and childhood adventures, she tries to find her place in a fragile family. The project received the Open SEA Fund Award from SEAFIC in 2018. Screening on 5 November 2026; paid admission.
