ABAO TXIKI: "El sastrecillo valiente"
A family show for children aged 4 and up, based on the Brothers Grimm tale of a tailor hailed as brave after killing seven at one blow, though they were only flies, who ends up facing a giant. Set in a theatre's tailoring workshop, it combines puppets, shadows, projections and a chamber orchestra, with music by Tibor Harsányi and stage direction by Enrique Lanz. The production comes from a collaboration between ABAO Bilbao Opera and Teatro Arriaga. It lasts 55 minutes and is narrated in Spanish. Performances at Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao on Saturday at 18:00 and Sunday at 12:00; tickets cost 14 and 22 €.
