ABAO Bilbao Opera: "Roberto Devereux"
ABAO's 2026/2027 season continues Donizetti's "queens trilogy" with Roberto Devereux, a lyric tragedy in three acts weaving politics, jealousy and passion at the Tudor court. Yolanda Auyanet sings Queen Elizabeth I, joined by Ismael Jordi in the title role, Pablo Ruiz as the Duke of Nottingham and Silvia Tro Santafé as Sara. Iván López-Reynoso conducts the Euskadiko Orkestra and the Coro de Ópera de Bilbao. This is the international premiere of the coproduction with Fundación Ópera de Oviedo, staged by Emilio López. Performances at Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao from 22 February to 1 March 2027, at 19:00 or 19:30. Tickets from 29 to 300 €.
