ABAO Bilbao Opera: "Il barbiere di Siviglia"
As part of ABAO Bilbao Opera's 2026/2027 season, Palacio Euskalduna stages Rossini's comic opera in which the clever Figaro helps Count Almaviva win Rosina. This Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège production, directed by Vincent Dujardin, moves the story to 1950s Seville. Pedro Bartolomé conducts the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa and the Coro de Ópera de Bilbao, with a cast including Andrzej Filonczyk, Leonor Bonilla, Santiago Ballerini, Bruno de Simone and Giorgio Caoduro. Performances run from 21 to 30 November 2026 at 19:00 or 19:30. Tickets range from €29 to €300.
