ABAO Bilbao Opera: "Die Walküre"
ABAO Bilbao Opera presents Die Walküre, Richard Wagner's opera in three acts and the second part of Der Ring des Nibelungen, as part of its 2026/2027 season. This is the international premiere of a new production staged by Guillermo Amaya, who conceives the stage as a land in ruins. Pedro Halffter conducts the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, with a cast led by Viktor Antipenko, Carla Filipcic-Holm, Marko Mimica, Egils Silinš, Daniela Barcellona and Ángeles Blancas. Performances take place at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao between 23 January and 1 February 2027, at 19:00 or 19:30. Tickets range from 29 to 300 €.
