"52 hertz"
A theatre piece inspired by the so-called "lonely whale", a sound resembling a blue whale's song recorded across the Pacific over 35 years, but at 52 hertz, beyond the range other whales hear, as they communicate between 10 and 39 hertz. The play turns this image into a symbol of social isolation, weaving together intersecting stories of people who live or have lived with unwanted loneliness. The non-realistic staging blends poetic imagery and choreography. Performance on 31 October 2026 at 19:00 at Baztartxo Udal Antzokia in Azkoitia. Tickets: €12.
