"50th anniversary of the Plaza de los Fueros"
A free exhibition at the Casa de Cultura Ignacio Aldecoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz marking fifty years of the Plaza de los Fueros, designed in 1976 by sculptor Eduardo Chillida and architect Luis Peña Ganchegui. It traces the square's origins, historical context and creative process, bringing together in one room for the first time Chillida's alabaster and engraving Gasteiz, plus six sketches and a model of the square. Experts in art, architecture and heritage also share their perspectives. Promoted by Patricia Álvarez de Arkaia, Ángel Cordero and Montx Alkorta, it runs from 10 October to 7 November.
