"25 years of Sexism in advertising"
The touring exhibition "25 years of Sexism in advertising" comes to Amorebieta-Etxano from 13 to 23 October at Zelaieta park. Promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia as part of the EMAKUMEAK strategy, it offers the public tools for critical reflection on how advertising has shaped models of women and men in society. The route is structured around four themes: the sexualised woman, sexist archetypes, violence against women and social diversity, showing how advertising messages have historically reproduced gender stereotypes and biases.
