Guided tours: "MUSKERRAREN BIDEA"
Asteasu Town Council offers guided tours of Muskerraren Bidea, a two-kilometre route through the village centre that explores the places which inspired Obaba, Bernardo Atxaga's imaginary literary land. Seven interpretive panels along the way provide texts, illustrations, maps and photographs about the area. The route was created in 2015 in collaboration with Donostia 2016 to share this heritage, which also appears in works such as Sugeak txoriari begiratzen dionean (1989) and Bi anai (1995). Tours are available for schools and for groups.
