A museum outside the museum — The MACBA Collection in unexpected places

This exhibition brings contemporary artworks from the MACBA Collection and Archive into everyday spaces across Catalonia, such as a pastry shop, a dentist’s waiting room or a bus stop, offering people new ways to encounter art outside museums. In Cardedeu, the works can be seen at Farmàcia Auqué from 19 June to 30 November 2026. Promoted by the Catalan Department of Culture together with MACBA and 25 visual arts centres of the SPEAV network, the project is curated by Martí Manen. Also in: Vilanova i la Geltrú, Vilafranca del Penedès, Valls, Tarragona, Sarrià de Ter, Terrassa, Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Sabadell, Reus, Mollet del Vallès, Vic.
