"Uhinak", an exhibition by Ra Asensi
From 8 July to 28 December 2026, the Kukula space in the Misericordia building of Euskal Museoa Bilbao hosts "Uhinak", a sculptural installation by Ra Asensi. The title means "waves" in Basque. Drawing on interviews with former workers of the Porcelanas Bidasoa factory and craftswoman Blanka Gómez de Segura, the artist turns the memory of Basque women linked to ceramics and water carrying into ceramic forms inspired by voice waves. Glazed stoneware, clay from Ollerías, Cantabrian seaweed, corten steel and local water change over the course of the show, which also features pieces from the museum and Gordailua. Open Monday and Wednesday to Saturday 10:00-19:00, Sunday 10:00-14:00; closed Tuesday.
Other dates: 24 Sep 2026.
