"Todos Los Caminos Llevan A Roma Y Todos Salen Del Cuzco"

The Museo Romano Oiasso in Irun hosts an exhibition comparing how Rome and the Inca Empire, a thousand years apart, controlled conquered lands through mining, road networks and mythological origins. It stems from a collaboration between Arkeolan, the Oiasso Museum and the Archaeological Museum of the Andes (Chile), part of the Gipuzkoa Coopera programme of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, and highlights the overlooked role of women in history. The opening is on 9 July at 12:00, with a guided tour by Carlos Coros and Mertxe Urteaga. Suitable for all audiences, free admission; closed on Mondays.
