"Grazed territories"

A small exhibition on the material and intangible culture of pastoralism, marking the UN's International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026. It brings together objects made and used by transhumant shepherds and audiovisual material from the Museo Etnológico de Navarra "Julio Caro Baroja", showing this ancestral activity in past decades and today, as efforts are made to revive it as a resilient alternative in the face of climate change. For the first time, it is shown at two venues at either end of the Cañada de los Roncaleses, the droving route linking the Pyrenees with the Bardenas Reales.
