Mataró holds five heritage treasures: the Roman villa of Torre Llauder, Antoni Viladomat’s Baroque ensemble in the Capella dels Dolors of the Basilica of Santa Maria, the country’s first panopticon prison by Elies Rogent, the modernist Coll i Regàs house by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and the Nau Gaudí with its latrine building. Apart from Barcelona, it is the only city with works by these three contemporary architects. The art project A la llum de Gaudí will link these five sites to showcase this heritage, as part of the Gaudí Year. From 3 October to 28 November 2026 at Casa Coll i Regàs. Paid activity.
