Mapamundistas 2026: group exhibition "Una cuerda que se teje"
The Pabellón de Mixtos in Pamplona's Citadel hosts this group exhibition from 11 September to 15 November, part of the contemporary art programme Mapamundistas, now marking 20 years. Laurita Siles, Pauline Cholier, Alba de la Portilla, Iratxe Jaio, Víctor Forniés and the collective La Comunidad Sanguínea explore the idea of generation, drawing on a model by anthropologist Tim Ingold, through works rooted in personal and intergenerational relationships: wool tapestries, video, sculptural installation and oil painting. It is organised by the association La Caracola with Pamplona City Council. Related activities include guided visits, a performative talk, a tapestry workshop and a series of French-language documentaries at Civivox Iturrama.
