Ibarraundi Museum

Ibarraundi Museum in Eskoriatza is housed in a former palace linked to the Galartza family, probably built between the 15th and 16th centuries and later used as a farmhouse. The Leintz Aretoa room screens an audiovisual on the medieval origins of the towns of the Léniz Valley and the relations between its lineages. Visitors can also see a history exhibition from the Palaeolithic to the Iron Age, featuring the Axtroki bowls and Atxorrotx Castle, an ethnographic display of original items from Eskoriatza, and around 70 large ammonites. Guided tours for school groups and the general public are available by appointment.
