"Vuit" exhibition — Frederic Amat
La Virreina Centre de la Imatge in Barcelona presents "Vuit", an exhibition exploring the dialogue that Barcelona-born artist Frederic Amat (1952) has held since the 1970s with poets, writers, playwrights and philosophers. It brings together these "conversations" of words, images, strokes and questions, including collaborations with Mark Strand, J. V. Foix, Octavio Paz and Guillermo Cabrera Infante, and the previously unseen short film Al filo (2026), made for La Virreina with Chantal Maillard. Open from 11 July to 1 November 2026, Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays, 11 am to 8 pm. Free admission.
