Exhibition "Unfunny Paintings" — Matti Schulz
La Plataforma - Galeria d'Art Contemporani i Estudi de Producció in Barcelona hosts the first solo show in the city by German multidisciplinary artist Matti Schulz. The exhibition brings together large and small paintings and drawings in which humour, popular culture and social criticism meet in an absurd yet recognisable visual world. Its title is a deliberate paradox: the works are freed from having to be funny, leaving humour open to many readings. Open from 17 September to 30 October 2026, Monday to Friday, 10:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00. Paid admission.
