Exhibition "Una força del passat"
CaixaForum Barcelona presents "Una força del passat", an exhibition of works drawn mainly from the "la Caixa" Foundation Contemporary Art Collection. Taking its title from a poem by Pier Paolo Pasolini, it poses a question that each artist answers in a different way. The pieces refer back to earlier paintings, sculptures, mythologies and iconographies through quotation, appropriation, homage or critical confrontation, opening a dialogue between eras to reflect on the present. Open from 23 September 2026 to 10 January 2027, daily from 10 am to 8 pm (10 am to 6 pm on 24 and 31 December and 5 January; closed 25 December and 1 and 6 January). General admission is €6; free for CaixaBank customers, European Youth Card holders and under-16s.
