Exhibition "Un teatre Lliure"

To mark its 50th anniversary, the Teatre Lliure and Palau Robert in Barcelona present an exhibition on half a century of one of the country's leading theatres. Founded in 1976 as a cooperative by young people from independent theatre, aiming to create art theatre for everyone, the Lliure has become a key public venue for stage creation. Curated by Tània Balló with the theatre and designed by Alcubierreestudio, the show steers away from a conventional retrospective, offering a contemporary look at the values and questions that have shaped the institution. Free admission, Monday to Saturday 9am–8pm, Sundays and holidays 9am–2:30pm, until 17 January 2027.
