Exhibition "Sim, el dibuix i la guerra"
The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona displays nearly one hundred drawings by José Luis Rey Vila, known as Sim (Cádiz, 1900 - Paris, 1983), made during the Spanish Civil War and recently acquired by the museum. Highly expressive and of great quality, they depict the harsh effects of the war, particularly in Barcelona. On view from 8 May to 31 December 2026. From May to September it opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm, and from October to April, 10 am to 6 pm; Sundays and holidays 10 am to 3 pm; closed Mondays except holidays. General admission €12; basic ticket €2.
