Exhibition "Reconstruint les Galeries Dalmau (1908-1930)"
From 9 April to 11 October 2026, Museu Abelló in Mollet del Vallès hosts a free exhibition on the Galeries Dalmau, one of Barcelona’s leading art venues between 1908 and 1930. The gallery staged more than 160 shows, including a 1912 cubist exhibition featuring Duchamp’s Nude Descending a Staircase and the first exhibitions of Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí. Around a hundred works, original or reproduced, reflect the debate between tradition and modernity in Catalonia at the time and the gallery’s ongoing support for Catalan artists. In summer it is open Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays in the afternoon, with morning hours at weekends.
