Exhibition "Picasso i l’arquitectura"

The Museu Picasso de Barcelona presents an exhibition on the connection between Pablo Picasso’s work and modern twentieth-century architecture. Starting from Cubism, it shows how techniques such as collage, fragmentation, superimposition, montage, translation and transparency shaped new ways of conceiving architectural space. Highlights include Guernica, created for the Spanish pavilion at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition, the friezes made for the Col·legi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Catalunya, and Picasso’s relationship with Le Corbusier. Part of Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture. Runs from 20 November 2026 to 7 March 2027; Tuesdays and Sundays 9:00–20:00, Wednesday to Saturday 9:00–21:00. General admission €14, reduced €7.50, free for Museum Friends.
