Permanent exhibition of the Costume Centre

Jantziaren Zentroa, housed in Kapitain-etxea in Errenteria, presents its third permanent exhibition: around 40 original garments across two rooms, renewed every year. On the first floor, "Indumentaria popular" gathers 20 pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries, including mourning clothes and garments lent by the Odria (Legazpi) and Mendizabal (Azkoitia) families. On the second floor, "Evolución de la indumentaria" shows 18 upper-class outfits, such as a 1900 déshabillé and a 1920 women's bathing suit, mostly owned by Iraultza dantza taldea. Open Saturdays 11:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00, Sundays and public holidays 12:00–14:00. Guided tours are arranged through the Errenteria tourist office.
