Exhibition "Neix en l'aire la primera flor" — By Anna Irina Russell
From 6 June to 22 November 2026, Museu Can Mario in Palafrugell hosts an exhibition by Barcelona-born artist Anna Irina Russell (1993), focused on her work around breathing. Working between sculpture and installation, she experiments with soft and inflatable materials to give form to what words and images cannot hold, such as overflow or suffocation. Conceived as a lung that expands, the show turns the museum into an organism that reveals the fragility of breath while offering a space to take in air. Admission is paid.
