Guggenheim exhibition: "Dan Flavin"

The Museo Guggenheim Bilbao presents an exhibition devoted to Dan Flavin (New York, 1933–1996), a key figure of Minimalism who, from 1963 onwards, turned ordinary commercial fluorescent tubes into artworks, shaping corners, barriers and corridors with light. Drawn from the holdings of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum as one of its biennial presentations, the show brings together major works from the 1960s to the 1980s, with particular focus on his early pieces. Open from 12 November 2026 to 4 April 2027, Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–20:00; in July and August, daily at the same hours.
