Exhibition "Gaudí, orígens. Forjant la tradició"

Marking the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death as part of the Gaudí Year, the Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món presents an installation within the permanent exhibition at its Montjuïc site. It looks at the architect's family roots in the coppersmith trade and how working copper and iron shaped his understanding of architecture, space and material, portraying Gaudí as a craftsman before he was an architect. Open Tuesday to Saturday 12:00–19:00, Sundays and public holidays 12:00–20:00; closed Mondays except holidays. General admission €5.20, reduced €3.70.
