Exhibition "Fernando Renes. MERX" — Curated by Antoni Jové
Centre d'Art la Panera in Lleida hosts "MERX", an exhibition by Fernando Renes curated by Antoni Jové that looks at today's hypercapitalism and at people's roles as workers, consumers and commodities in a global market. Drawing on the building's medieval origins as a marketplace, Renes uses ceramics, drawing and animation to explore production, consumption, usefulness and symbolic value, with traditional pottery at the heart of the show. Runs from 24 October 2026 to 7 February 2027, free admission. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10:00–14:00 and 17:00–19:00, Sundays and holidays 11:00–14:00; closed Mondays.
