Exhibition "Declaració d’amor a Lenin" — Juana Dolores Romero Casanova
La Virreina Centre de la Imatge in Barcelona hosts this free exhibition by Juana Dolores Romero Casanova from 11 July to 1 November 2026. Taking a quote by Che Guevara about love guiding the true revolutionary as its starting point, the artist traces the idea of love in the revolutionary tradition and sets her class resentment alongside her romantic resentment. She asks what love might look like under communism compared with capitalism and, amid today's crisis and the rise of the far right, embraces love for the revolution. Open Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays, 11 am to 8 pm.
