Exhibition "Dear/d(ee)r Girls" — Blanca Guasch

Centre Cívic Can Basté in Barcelona hosts "Dear/d(ee)r Girls", a photography project by Blanca Guasch exploring how female identity is shaped from childhood, drawing on her own experience of growing up in a mostly male environment. The work suggests that rejection of the feminine begins early, as masculinity is often built in opposition to it. The series combines photos from her personal archive, taken since adolescence, with recent images in a non-linear narrative. Free admission, from 17 September to 7 November 2026. Opening hours: Monday 4–9.30 pm; Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am–2 pm and 4–9.30 pm; Saturday 10.30 am–2 pm and 4.30–8 pm.
