Exhibition "Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme"
MACBA hosts the first exhibition in Spain by the artist duo of Palestinian descent Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme. Working with sound, image, text and performance, they delve into collective memory to examine histories of oppression, dispossession and violence alongside those of collectivity and resilience. At its core is a new immersive, multichannel audiovisual installation made for the space, exploring spectral presences and storytelling through song. Runs 13 February 2026 to 17 January 2027. Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11:00–19:30; Saturday 10:00–20:00; Sundays and holidays 10:00–15:00; closed non-holiday Tuesdays. Tickets: €12 at the box office, €10.80 online, €10.20 off-peak, free for MACBA Friends.
