"And Praxis" exhibition

NEWART Centre in Reus presents AND PRAXIS, an exhibition on the pioneers of New Media Art bringing together works and practices by a wide range of international artists. It stems from an initiative by Professor Paul Thomas, editor of The Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of New Media Art, with Vicente Matallana and Jaime de los Ríos. On opening day, 22 October, admission is free: the symposium Preserving the Pioneers starts at 4.30 pm, led by Pau Alsina of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya with artists such as Paul Sermon, plus a telematic performance, and the exhibition opens at 7 pm. Running until 30 April 2027, with guided tours Thursday to Saturday at 12 pm and 5 pm and Sunday at 12 pm. General admission €12, reduced €9, free for children under 8.
