Exhibition "325 years of history of the Ball de Bastons de Lleida"
The Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs (IEI) in Lleida hosts a free exhibition from 24 September to 31 October 2026 on the city's Ball de Bastons stick dance, from its first documented mention in 1701, during King Philip V's visit, to the present. Images, historical materials, costumes from different periods and a timeline trace the groups that kept it alive, from the children of the Casa de la Maternitat to today's Colla Bastonera del Pla de l'Aigua. One section covers the Titiritero, the Pastora Galana and the Cusidoreta. Open Monday to Saturday and public holidays 10:00–14:00 and 17:30–20:30; closed Sundays.
