The thread of modernity — Manufactura Aymat. 100 years of creation.

A free exhibition at the Centre Grau-Garriga d’Art Tèxtil Contemporani in Sant Cugat del Vallès on Manufactura Aymat, a turning point in contemporary tapestry in Catalonia. It traces the workshop from its roots in noucentisme and art deco to its embrace of new European trends from 1959, when the so-called Catalan School of Tapestry emerged. Works by Aurèlia Muñoz are shown alongside artists such as Josep Grau-Garriga, Josep Guinovart, Albert Ràfols-Casamada and Josep Maria Subirachs, as part of the Aurèlia Muñoz Year. From 23 January to 31 May 2027; Tuesday to Saturday 5–8 pm, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 10 am–2 pm, closed Mondays.
