"Donostiako paisaiak", exhibition by Tomás Hernández
From 10 September to 7 November, the Ekain Arte Lanak gallery in San Sebastián presents a series of pen-and-ink drawings by Tomás Hernández (Donostia, 1940-2021), an artist who made his home city the recurring subject of his work. Created across different periods of his life, the drawings form a kind of graphic diary of Donostia and a journey through time. Hernández worked as a draughtsman, graphic designer and painter, and was best known as a poster artist, designing hundreds of posters. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30-13:30 and 17:30-21:00.
