"Donde el cuerpo insiste", exhibition by Marta Carrillo Serrano

From 10 September to 5 November 2026, Galería 104.5º presents the first solo show in Bilbao by Marta Carrillo Serrano, an artist born in Murcia in 2001 whose work moves between figuration and abstraction. Made with charcoal, pigments and various supports, her paintings focus on the female body without depicting it anatomically or as a narrative, evoking it instead through fragments, traces, folds and textures. Forms surface and dissolve again, leaving viewers to complete what is never fully revealed. An exhibition for those drawn to painting that raises questions rather than offering answers.
