Lectures and exhibition 'Segovia, ciudad de poder: de los césares a los reyes' at the Archivo Histórico Provincial de Segovia

The Archivo Histórico Provincial de Segovia hosts the fourth edition of the series "Érase una vez, Segovia", whose 2026 theme is the city as a seat of power. Five specialists will take a chronological journey through more than 1,500 years of history, from Roman Segovia to the Bourbon monarchy, exploring how power was exercised, organised and displayed, and the traces it left in monuments such as the Alcázar, in the urban landscape and in documentary and archaeological records. The lectures run from 15 September to 13 October, alongside an exhibition. Aimed at anyone interested in history and heritage.
