Ayer. Collection 1940-1990. 1st Rereading of the Collection.

MUCAC presents, in Spaces One and Two of its La Coracha venue in Málaga, a first rereading of its collection covering 1940 to 1990. The exhibition brings together works by more than 70 Spanish artists and traces key moments in the country's art, with a special focus on Málaga and Andalusia: exile and surrealism, postwar academicism, informalism, geometric abstraction and the 1980s in both official and countercultural forms. The pieces are shown alongside works from the Carmen Riera Art Collection, the Colegio de Arquitectos de Málaga, the Fundación Berrocal and the Museo de Málaga, among others. Curator: Salvador Nadales. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 8pm, free admission.
