"Aurèlia Muñoz: nature as an archive"
A free exhibition at the Sala d’exposicions of the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya in Barcelona, exploring artist Aurèlia Muñoz's bond with nature: the mountains, trees, birds, flowers and sea creatures that shaped her work. From 1943 she belonged to a group of hikers and skiers, an experience that left a lasting mark on her creative imagination. Curated by Sílvia Ventosa Muñoz with scientific advice from Manuel Cirauqui, it is part of the Any Aurèlia Muñoz commemoration. Open 28 January to 19 March 2027, Monday to Thursday 10:30–13:00 and 17:00–20:00, Friday 10:30–13:00.
