"100 years. The modern and/or the contemporary"

At San Telmo Museoa in San Sebastián, this exhibition curated by Peio Aguirre renews the Basque art gallery, spanning the 1920s to the present and bringing in artists active on today's Basque art scene. It completes the refurbishment of the museum's art galleries begun in 2023 and launches a biennial series with different curators, drawing on the museum's collection and the heritage held at Gordailua. The show also extends to the entrance hall, the tower, the industrialisation gallery and the choir. Free visits with the curator and scheduled guided tours included with admission are offered in Spanish and Basque, with advance booking.
